What Does the Stage Look Like?
The stages we hire in provide the perfect platform for your live band, DJ, or performers. Designed to be functional yet unobtrusive, they create a professional performance space that complements the elegant interior of our sailcloth marquees.
Stage Specifications
- Modular 8x4ft panels – The stages come in 8x4ft panels, so please ask your band or DJ what size stage they require
- Black finish – The stage panels are black, providing a sleek, professional look
- 1 foot height – The stage sits 1 foot off the ground, giving performers visibility while keeping sightlines comfortable for seated guests
- Black valance – A black valance surrounds the stage base for a clean, finished appearance
Optional Extras
- Carpet covering – If you are having a hard floor and carpet, we can order extra carpet to cover the stage if you wish. This creates a seamless look across your dance floor and stage area. Please enquire about pricing for this option.
What You'll Need to Arrange
- Stage size – Please confirm with your band or DJ what size stage they require so we can arrange the correct number of panels
- Sound and lighting equipment – Your band or DJ will typically provide their own PA system, microphones, and stage lighting
- Power requirements – Let us know your band's power needs and we'll ensure sockets are positioned near the stage
Positioning
- The stage is typically positioned at one end of the marquee, adjacent to the dance floor
- We'll work with you on the layout to ensure good sightlines and flow for your event
- The stage can be positioned against the marquee wall or with space behind for band equipment and access
