Original Marquees did a marquee and stretch-tent for our wedding. They were outstanding.

Organising a wedding is a pretty daunting task – but they made the marquee side simple – with lots of options, not oversold, and practical advice. When it came to putting up and taking down the marquee they were remarkably quick – with a small army of people turning up and putting up the marquee in under a day.

The marquee looked fantastic and even our other suppliers commented on the quality. The venue owners said that they were the best marquee company that they had worked with.

Original Marquees provided an incredible marquee and stretch tent for our wedding. They came highly recommended and we were thrilled with the service all the way through – from initial consultation and site visit, through to set up and clear down. Harry and the team were also able to provide lots of useful advice and ideas on layout/ set up.

We used Original Marquees for our wedding in May and I couldn’t recommend them enough. From start to finish, Alex and team were fantastic in their guidance and support and I had full confidence in them providing such a big part of our special day. The whole planning process with them was easy, nothing was too much and the quality was fantastic.

We made the wise decision to select original marquees for our daughter’s wedding in July 2021 and they couldn’t have looked after us better. They were very tidy and efficient with the set up and dismantling of it and were very nice to deal with during a roller coaster year of covid rules. With a week’s notice they organised a stretch marquee in the church yard which all took time but nothing was too much trouble. I wish them well in their business.

Original provided the marquee for our wedding in September 2021, and we were absolutely blown away by the service they provided. From start to finish they were excellent – really professional and responsive, and always ready to give helpful advice drawn from their many years of experience. Their customer service leading up to the wedding really stood out – Eleanor put up with our endless changes of design with humour and understanding; nothing was too much trouble. They attended the venue several times to plan the marquee, and as a result the setup was seamless and completely stress free. Most importantly, the marquee was spacious, light, airy and beautiful – perfect for our celebration. Overall, original aren’t the cheapest marquee company out there, but they really justify the extra cost. We would heartily recommend them to anyone looking to create a beautiful, light and unpretentious space with a minimum of hassle and great customer support.

Harry and his team were always so accommodating and patient. Whatever we wanted to do (whether it was put up a swag of 7m ribbons, build our own steps from the garden or put the marquee on 2m stilts), Harry was helpful and always found a way around things. The team kept an eye on the budget and no costs went up from our initial quote. Original Marquees worked closely with the catering team, meaning lots of tricky questions didn’t come via us. The quality of the marquee was exceptional and so many guests commented that it was the nicest they had ever seen! A huge thanks.

We fell in love with the festoon tent and fairy lights of Original Marquees and it soon became more than just a marquee and the whole basis of our wedding reception venue. Alex and the team were very easy to work with and quick to answer questions but without putting pressure on us. They were particularly amazing at rearranging our date due to COVID and made the whole process very easy. Over the weekend they were professional and polite to all our friends and family and worked really well with all our suppliers. I could recommend them more highly.

Just the best. Their service is absolutely first class – put up the marquee in less than ideal weather conditions with the minimum of fuss. Alex and the whole team are just so friendly and helpful – nothing fazes them, they are full of suggestions for those who have less experience and are happy to tailor to what you need. Goes without saying that the marquees look amazing; you won’t find nicer ones around.

Original Marquees were absolutely brilliant, our marquee was beautiful and all our guests loved it. Alex and Harry couldn’t have been more accommodating in the lead up the the wedding and were really supportive when we had to move the date multiple times due to the pandemic. I couldn’t recommend them more highly – they’re the best!

Original Marquees surpassed all our expectations. They made everything so easy, from booking them, holding our hands through a Covid postponement to the installation for the wedding. They were supremely professional and answered lots and lots of questions from us. They were very flexible in terms of adding things to our booking and not a single thing was forgotten by them.The marquee on the day looked stunning and as if it were new. They left the site clean and tidy after the installation and very tidy after taking down the marquee. They even used a leaf blower to fluff up the flattened grass ! it was as though the marquee had never been there. We were so happy with the marquee that it has been re-booked for next year for a party .
